Logseq

Logseq

Logseq is one of our most used integrations đź’ś

Its local first approach plays beautifully with NeuraCache, also local first.

Logseq also solves some of the challenges introduced in Syncing your Cards with iCloud vaults.

Everything that you’ve learned so far with NeuraCache Markdown applies to Logseq 👍

Basic Workflow

Using Logseq journal just type in your cards anywhere (instead of a #flashcard tag, you can use emoji ⚡️ or 🧠  to indicate the card). The answer can have multiple levels with images, code blocks etc.

You can also place cards anywhere in your pages, subfolders etc.

Don’t want a question? — just resurface a bullet which all its children 👉  add #spaced tag at the end (you can add more tags if needed)

Have more cards at the same time? Use “Batch Cards” feature:

Combining with Logseq #card tag

Logseq has its own Flashcards feature which uses the same structure as NeuraCache Indented Cards đź‘Ś

If you would like to use Logseq Flashcards feature alongside NeuraCache, the only thing you need to do is to customize #flashcard tag in the NeuraCache app to #card 👇

The only drawback is that it will be a bit weird to use “Batch Flashcards” (Logseq recognizes it as a single card) but other than that you are all set.

If you don’t use Flashcards feature in Logseq, you don’t need to change the #flashcard tag.

Syncing Cards

Assuming that you have setup a sync mechanism between Desktop-Mobile (or using iCloud Folder), just point NeuraCache to your Logseq vault on your phone, that’s it 👍

  1. On the “Cards” tab, tap sources icon in the top right corner
  2. Tap “Manage Sync Folders”
  3. Tap “Add Folder”
  4. Find your Logseq folder đź‘€

NeuraCache will scan all the contents every ~6h and generate/update the cards

That’s it

Thank you for sticking to the end 🙂
