Evernote + NeuraCache — a simple example
Ok. Let's create a simple Flashcard with Spaced Repetition so that you can see how your brain retains
information with NeuraCache.
# STEP 1 : Create Note
Start Evernote and create a new notebook; let's call it "Flashcards".
Create a new note inside. With a title:
"How many people die from snake bites annually?"
and note content:
"an estimated 5.4 million people are bitten each year. Around 81 000 to 138 000 people die each year because of snake bites"
# STEP 2 : Sync the note with NeuraCache
Now open NeuraCache and connect it with Evernote. Choose notebook "Flashcards" and tap "Sync".
You should now see your flashcard in NeuraCache.
The flashcard will have Spaced Repetition automatically started, so there is nothing you need to do. It will show up in your daily queue when times comes (you will receive a notification).
Note: If you don't see the "Show" button — make sure you have enabled "Use Titles as Recall Questions" switch in Settings Tab.
# PRO TIP : Multiple flashcards in a single note.
This is trivial. Just add a two-column table anywhere in the note content and define any number of questions/answers you would like. You can also use images.
Examples :
Learning Vocabulary / Learning Programming
